Together for a warm and colorful winter

New collection by Uniqlo and Marni

By

The union of a simple and well-finished garment by UNIQLO, linked to the color, shapes and art of MARNI has led to the creation of a collaboration between the two and this year is proposed with a second collection.

The theme of this second collection, as Yukihiro Katsuta (Senior Executive Officer of Fast Retailing Group and Head of Research and Development of UNIQLO) says: “It is the joy of being wrapped up”.

Francesco Risso (Marni’s Creative Director) on the collaboration says: “I wanted to investigate the aesthetic perception of the 60s, playing with clichés. The patterns continue to confirm the idea that everyone has of Marni because they are at the center of our vocabulary and identify our graphic language.”

The winter products of UNIQLO, in particular sweaters and accessories are in great demand by customers and have been interpreted with psychedelic prints of the 60s and color block designs transmitted by the aesthetics of Marni.

Vests, sweaters, gloves, caps and many other products offer a bit of color to your everyday life giving you a sweet warm cuddle to prevent the cold this winter.

As a particular accessory there are the Furoshiki Kaleidoscopic scarves.
They are made of 100% silk with various hand-painted motifs, to be used as an accessory to give an extra touch to your winter look, wrapping it around your neck or using it in the way you like.

The gesture of wrapping objects with Furoshiki, a traditional Japanese cloth, is an important part of the culture of the Rising Sun.
