Silk underwear, zero waste sunglasses, bandanas and sunscreen that doesn't pollute the sea

June came with its first heat and unexpected super hot sun. School is over and it’s time to choose where to spend our summer 2021. So, we have searched five eco-friendly brands that are perfect for June, in the name of style but at the same time respecting the environment.

MOYE STORE

A brand of Polish origin designed for relaxation and with a varied selection of intimate products. The slogan identifies the brand's mission: “designed for comfort, made to last”, for MOYE it is essential to create garments without seasonality but with great quality in order to make them last over time.

Great attention is paid to the fabric used: natural silk of Italian origins from Como. ESSENTIALS FOR ZULA

A brand that was born in 2015 from an Austro-Thai family duo, father and daughter, in order to give life to their slow fashion project. EFZ ethically designs their vision through product categories designed for the feminine spirit: from underwear to swimwear through yogawear.

The story of her father inevitably brought Delie closer to the sartorial and artisan reality by deciding to create a project to express creativity and respect for the environment in equal measure. The brand focuses on many points: transparency and well-being of workers in compliance with United Nations standards, zero waste as a philosophy especially in the "tetris" positioning of patterns on fabrics and they are committed to creating timless pieces.

MyKAI

The first brand born with the fundamental intention of being ocean friendly in order to protect your skin and at the same time also the ocean. This is why the MyKAI slogan is: "the sun milk that loves the ocean like your skin”.

And this is exactly the case because this sustainable line is free of micro-palsies and is composed of green ingredients such as biodegradable micro-polymers for the first time present in a cosmetic product.

This is also because according to studies on the potential negative impact of sunscreens dispersed in water, every year from 4 to 6 thousand tons of cream are released in coral reefs and 14 thousand in the seas. 48 hours after their dissolution, these substances destroy and damage algae and corals which are essential for ocean biodiversity.

CARRÈ’S MILANO

An independent project born in 2020 led by three women: Arianna, Maria Cristina and Gloria who orbit around creative sectors such as fashion, art and photography. Each piece is unique and reflects the strength of the feminine spirit that flows into sparkling creativity with retro references.

The production takes place in the Apulian territory where the artisans are masterfully dedicated to this project. CARRÈ’s goal is to create garments that can make women who wear them feel at ease using fabrics such as satin, linen or cotton.

WIRES GLASSES

This project sees eyewear as the protagonist with the intention of being an object that lasts forever. WIRES is still raising funds on kickstarter in order to launch the first line of long-lasting and totally sustainable eyewear in the fashion system market.

The modular concept of the frame allows you to keep it but what makes them a promising project is the versatility in easily removing and changing the lenses obviously refillable as they are created by plants.

“We have to buy less, not more. We believe in quality not quantity. So what is the world you want to see? Because we want to see the world we were able to create”.
