A figure actually not that high if indeed a gazebo at the Maldives (of Salento) costs the same.

But since there was talk of a rich man's holiday, better to add a few zeros and set sail on the Octopus, a yacht with 10 cabins, two VIP flats, swimming pool, cinema and spa for only 2.2 million a week. And I don't think that figure includes the fuel that this authentic ship consumes sparingly.

For the rich man who prefers to keep his feet on the ground, there is instead Villa La Ramade, in Saint Tropez on the Côte d'Azur. The mansion has a master suite with a private and very panoramic terrace, five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and accommodation for security personnel. The villa, obviously equipped with a swimming pool, is offered in August at around EUR 10,000 per night.
