The flagship of entertainment branded Apple is definitely photography. Compared to the previous model, it changes the resolution of the cameras: the iPhone 16 in fact has a dual camera Fusion 48MP and an ultra-wide angle 12MP, which allows you to take photos at very high resolution, from panoramic to macro, passing through portraits worthy of the covers of Vogue. The technical component is undoubtedly a leap forward: we go from the A16 Bionic chip with 5-core GPU, mounted on the iPhone 15, to an A18 with 5-core GPU, which will guarantee a speed of 40% higher than the previous model. A perfect machine, fast and efficient, but for what? The company wants to emphasize that this processor is not necessary for the efficiency of particular applications, but precisely to optimize the entertainment sector: it is in fact "at the base of evolved functions such as the Photographic Styles and the Camera Control".
The advent of iPhone 16 brings a long-awaited news by Apple aficionados, always fighting against the poor battery life of the iPhone: the A18 chip helps to give more autonomy of charge, up to 27 hours. 27 hours of calls, messages or the possibility to work with your smartphone without increasing your bill? Let’s move on to design. The inner one is designed to dissipate more heat (another Apple chip); the outer one to resist unwanted falls and breakages: aerospace aluminum shell and Ceramic Shield technology in glass (already in use from model 12). No space has been given to Apple Intelligence, the system of personal intelligence that will create texts and images, perform actions on the apps based on the user experience, and make Siri more efficient and natural. In addition, the possibility of automatic integration and interaction with ChatGPT is envisaged, without the use of additional apps. It is true, at the moment Apple Intelligence will not be available in the European market until 2025 but only in the US, UK and English-speaking countries: but given the imminent arrival, to spend a few words on the most interesting aspect of the new model and processor would not have been a bad idea.
