Nike to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 model, decided to collaborate with Slam Jam, a reality created by Luca Benini who in the 80s traveled from Milan to New York and immediately understood that the two cities could be combined.
The new Slam Jam x Nike AF 1 combines the social and cultural context of New York and Milan mixing different elements but that blend together creating something magical.
The artistic direction is entrusted to Julian Klincewicz, a director, artist, photographer and musician who lives in Los Angeles and who for this collaboration has created portraits and films related to the city of Milan.
This model of AF 1 is available in two colors: white and black. Features suede inserts on the heel and swoosh, extra eyelets and a double lacing. The writing Nike Air reversed reiterates the concept conceived by Slam Jam: “so different, so similar”. Another change we see is the variation of the holes that recreate the inverted A on the toe.

The white Air Force will be available from 10 December at Slam Jam and 13 December on SNKRS exclusively for Europe. The black version will be released on 14 January at Slam Jam and 17 globally on SNKRS and selected retailers.
