Emma Watson nel CdA di Kering

La piccola Hermione è cresciuta

Lo ha annunciato François-Henri Pinault, presidente e CEO di Kering, l’arrivo di Emma Watson e insieme a lei di Jean Liu, CEO e founder di Didi Chuxing e di Tidjane Thiam, ex CEO di Credit Suisse, nel consiglio di amministrazione del colosso del lusso francese.

Dai tempi dei banchi di Hogwarts, accanto agli iconici Harry e Ron, la sapientina Hermione ha dimostrato di essere cresciuta e il background l’ha portata ad un doppio riconoscimento: membro del CdA di Kering e presidente del comitato per la sostenibilità del gruppo.

Da tempo attivista, impegnata nella difesa dei diritti delle donne e nella battaglia pro moda sostenibile, Emma si è distinta per diverse azioni tra cui la collaborazione nel 2011 con Alberta Ferretti che ha visto la creazione di una collezione sostenibile ispirata agli anni ’60/’70.

Pinault ha dichiarato di credere fortemente nelle potenzialità dei tre nuovi membri. Dalla diversità generazionale e di competenze, ancora una volta, si prospetta il successo.

Kering is proud to announce that Emma Watson is joining its Board of Directors, alongside Jean Liu and Tidjane Thiam. Their appointments have been approved by Kering’s shareholders during the Group’s Annual General Meeting, as proposed by the Board of Directors in March 2020. Emma Watson has also been appointed Chair of the Sustainability Committee of the Board of Directors. The combined wealth of experience and skillsets of these three well-known figures will be complementary assets to the Group, enhancing the quality of the work done by the Board of Directors.
