When it comes to timeless and (seemingly) effortless elegance, the French style is unrivaled. The supermodel and designer Ines De La Fressange, born in 1957, knows it well, making it a trademark and working hard to spread the essential wardrobe of French women all over the world. Your collaboration with UNIQLO is therefore back for Spring/Summer 2022, available in Italy from Thursday 3 March in store and online.
The collection reflects the search for comfort of the French chic style, with a touch of modernity. De La Fressange has in fact been committed to creating pieces that are a meeting point between past and present, maintaining a French soul well represented by the predominant choice of the tricolor in the palette of the collection. Tribute also to the city of Marrakech, one of the favorite exotic destinations across the Channel, which with its sun and use of primary colors has impressed itself in the memories of the young Ines just thirteen years old. It is "a place where you can free your mind and relax, and feel at ease", as she described it, recalling a mood that is reflected in the clothing chosen for the arrival of the new season.
The UNIQLO and INES DE LA FRESSANGE collection consists of numerous pieces ranging from a more youthful and sporty style, as for the sweaters with hoods and collars, to a more sober and androgynous one, as for the blue suits and trousers, which represent a real uniform for those who want to imitate the iconic style of Ines. Maximum freedom of styling choices thanks to garments with floral and checked motifs, a must in spring, to beautiful shirts and above all to accessories. Not to be missed for the summer season a scarf of your choice among the three proposals, or a belt to combine with large dresses in shades of gray-blue. Another item that cannot be missed is the polo shirt, proposed in cream and navy variants and perfect with a simple pair of jeans.
Each piece is designed to be part of a timeless wardrobe, a meeting point between luxury and vintage that is synonymous with Parisian chic style.
