SHEIN and the Umberto Veronesi Foundation: together in the fight against female cancer

SHEIN si unisce al progetto “Pink is Good” della storica Fondazione italiana per combattere i tumori e sostenere le donne

By

October is the month dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer, and this year it becomes even more pink thanks to the partnership between SHEIN, an e-commerce among the leaders of fast fashion that has recently arrived in Italy, and Umberto Veronesi Foundation, a reality which has been committed to financing scientific research and education for prevention since 2003

On the one hand, SHEIN wants to make fashion available to all women in an inclusive way, encouraging them to tell their story through clothing, to feel comfortable and promoting the values of community, ambition and authenticity.

On the other hand, Umberto Veronesi Foundation has been dedicated for years to education in the prevention, research, study and treatment of breast, uterus and ovarian cancers, diseases that affect 55.000, 11.000 and 5.000 women respectively each year only in Italy, with the “Pink is Good“ project.

This fall, SHEIN made a concrete commitment to supporting women, donating 100.000 dollars to the Foundation's project through a partnership that develops into two different activities.

The "Pink Ambassadors", a group of 165 women in 18 Italian cities who have defeated cancer and returned to live, will have SHEIN as their Top Partner this year; while the second "activity" will start next yer and sees the funding from the brand of research grants for two scientific projects in the field of female oncology.

Because the tenacity, virtue and strength of women in overcoming the obstacles of life must be promoted, encouraged, supported, and celebrated, as SHEIN does with the Umberto Veronesi Foundation.
