November. The protagonist of the month that marks the winter’s beginning is Gaia Gozzi, @gaiagozziofficial, singer, young hope of the Italian music scene, unstoppable soul.
Here's what she told us:
Tell us about yourself and what you do in life.
“Hello”. My name is Gaia, I sing and write songs. I’m 21 years old, I’m Italo-Brazilian and I live in the beautiful Milan. I’m Libra ascending Leo. Very determined in work and rather sensitive in interpersonal relationships. My favorite food is sushi.
When is your passion for singing born?
My passion for music has always been there. It doesn’t have a precise date of birth. I went from concerts in the shower to those in front of a public in the flesh. I’ve always written my songs, in English and Portuguese. Lately I opened up to Italian and, now, this abstruse and indecipherable language has become the protagonist of my new album.
A fixed thought when you perform?
When I perform, I enjoy it, stop. There’s nothing else but the energy that connects me, my band and the public. All in the same dimension. It’s always beautiful.
What would you have done if you hadn’t become a singer?
If I hadn’t become a singer, I still wanted to do something big, probably related to art. Maybe the creative director of a magazine or a brand, or even, who knows, the painter...
Your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is not to stop dreaming. In short words? I’ll never tell you...
