Founded in 2020 by Niccolò Chiuppesi, the responsible fashion brand BENNU has a very specific mission: to reduce waste in the clothing sector by limiting the production of garments and trying to contain the pollution it causes.

Here upcycling becomes the key technique of the brand which, starting from vintage garments recovered from unsold stocks, gives life to numbered unique pieces reinterpreted in a tailored way.

Not only sustainable and attentive to waste, BENNU garments are designed to be gender fluid and inclusive: in fact, it starts from size XS up to XL.

The uniqueness of the pieces allows you to tell an ever new story, to reinvent yourself and to be open to different interpretations.

The Martina Camani & Verde Erdev x BENNU project is made up of two capsule collections: Ferula, designed by Verde Erdev and already available online from 21 February, and Adolesco, designed by Martina Camani, still under construction and available from 19 September.

To tell the project even better, BENNU has entrusted Alessandra Gaglioti with the direction of a film of the same name which, with an intimate and documentary gaze, accompanied by the music of Giacomo Vanelli, narrates the developments of the two collections.

On the one hand, Ferula stands out for the embroideries and patch details made entirely by hand that give life to a narrative in which they become a symbol of protection, liberation and renunciation of sexual difference, giving a sense of love and intimacy nourished by the figurative representation. of mythological archetypes.

On the other hand, Adolesco sees a continuity with research in animal symbolism and with the artist's personal projects, focusing on animal studies and the theme of adolescence in the kingdom and in animal language.
