The fashion weeks ended in Paris, a city where style has always occupied a front row seat. Like every year the French Maison made us dream, making us get closer to high fashion.

What if not the evening dress could be the protagonist of the French Maison?

In each show, the ending is totally dedicated to the evening, the moment of maximum splendor and femininity. The evening dress does not have a precise location within the story. Each era has its own version: the Greek tunics decorated with gold jewels, the royal clothes worn by kings and queens, the tight bodices with the wide skirts of the living rooms of the late nineteenth century and the silk and feather dressing gowns of the twenties.

The evening dress has always accompanied women and year after year has always made them feel beautiful, sophisticated and at the center of attention.

So are the women who wear Givenchy, king of elegance, who for an unforgettable evening proposes a white jumpsuit. Feathers and beads run on the upper part and emphasize the waistline giving an alternative touch to sophisticated pleating.

Valentino chooses the 'I don't see' for the black and transparent dress that showcases the shapes of the female body. The garment is a perfect mix between the sensuality of transparencies and the child soul of the rouges on the neck, wrists and skirt.

Balmain women at night turn into Valkyrie heroines: satin dresses reminiscent of the Greek/Roman world come together in a cloak, a leather belt with a large golden buckle gives an aggressive and adventurous touch.

Saint Laurent has conquered the spectators with the play of light on the catwalk so sharp as to best highlight the bright colors of the collection. The evening dress is tinged with electric blue: wrapped in flounces and vollants, the Saint Laurent woman faces the night in Parisian clubs where her cheeky soul conquers the scene.

Last but not least, Paco Rabanne remains faithful to his historic nets of metal plates revisiting them and proposing a beaded dress that make the curves of the model's body shine.

To win over the guests and the web was the Maison Balenciaga which, against the laws of nature, made the models walk by the water. And this is how they marched in a sea of amazement, wrapped in splashes of water and color block dresses wrapped to perfection around the body. The colored fabric adapts to the shapes of the body creating games of contrast: on the one hand it becomes a second skin, remaining adherent to the body; on the other, it forms soft drapes that gather in the right places. Elegance and madness are the watchwords of this fashion show that will certainly remain in the archives of the memory exhibition.
