Nostalgia Box: Sabrina, the Teenage Witch

Who remembers it?

By

How would you react if you were given a cauldron for your sixteenth birthday? Probably like Sabrina Spellman, who thinks her aunts Hilda and Zelda are fooling her. But a few episodes are enough to turn the adolescent into a conscious, young witch. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch a is a television series aired from 1996 to 2003 and that comes directly from the universe of Archie Comics. The success of this production has led to recording and broadcasting seven seasons, all starring Melissa Joan Hart. In fact, nothing was missing from Spellman: funny, bungling and looking for love. Sabrina immediately finds him in the corridors of Westbridge, but the ups and downs with Harvey Kinkle, played by Nate Richert, will not be missing until the very latest episode. In fact, since the second season, Sabrina's heart is divided between him and another boy, Dashiell, half mortal and half sorcerer. And how can we forget the talking black cat? Friend and mentor of Sabrina, Salem is a sarcastic and selfish sorcerer trapped in the body of the animal for trying to conquer the world, to which the jokes never fail. The two aunts Zelda and Hilda also played a key role in the series, not only as guides for the young witch, but also as extravagant characters who combine all colors. Remember Aunt Hilda's watch store and the story between Aunt Zelda and Principal Kraft? In 2018 Netflix announces the reboot of the series with a decidedly more horror touch, but thanks to the talent of Kiernan Shipka it has already been a huge success. Also due to the beautiful face of Ross Lynch and the triangle with Gavin Leatherwood, perhaps, but Chilling Adventures of Sabrina certainly did not disappoint the expectations of the most iconic teenage witch of the 90s.
