Netflix scores another goal with the movie: Enola Holmes

The story of Sherlock Holmes' little sister

By

After the August releases, September is also turning out to be a month full of Netflix news.

One of the most anticipated films is certainly: "Enola Holmes". Its release is scheduled for September 23 and the trailer is already online on the platform's channels.

The project was born as a film for the big screen, but due to the pandemic, the directors have turned to streaming distribution.

The film is based on the first book of the novel series by writer Nancy Springer: "The Case of the Missing Marquess: An Enola Holmes Mystery", and stars a young and brilliant investigator, as well as younger sister of the more famous Sherlock Holmes.

The sixteen-year-old protagonist, Enola, is played by Millie Bobbie Brown, famous for her performance in "The Stranger Things", who will be joined by Henry Cavill in the role of her older brother, the well-known Sherlock.

A plot that does justice in all respects to the writer's series of books.

The young woman protagonist, was raised and educated by her mother in the arts of combat and sport, but above all she is a girl dedicated to the virtue of independence and trust in her own worth, a definitely avant-garde attitude given the historical period in which her series is set.

Enola's wild streak comes out, just when her mother never returns home, and from there begins a series of adventures that will surely leave us glued to the screen.

C’è un’altra mente geniale in casa Holmes. @milliebobbybrown è la protagonista di Enola Holmes, un film originale Netflix.

"Enola Holmes" is the first of what is hoped to be only the first episode of a longer saga, designed for a young audience but which hopes to impress and thrill even the most adults.

We can't wait!
