MFGA - Make Fashion Great Again: the fusion of culture and fashion

"The Nutcracker"

By

With the ambitious goal of bringing fashion back into the cultural world and ensuring that society does not judge fashion as just superficial and frivolous, we find Martha Paletto, who with her emerging brand MFGA presents her 2021 collection inspired by the Russian ballet The Nutcracker”.

The collection was a great challenge consisting of 12 garments for ss 21, where soft and fluid lines, ruffles, iridescent effects and bright colors animate us to dance to the wonderful music of Tchaikovsky.

A line created for generation Z and Millenials, where normality becomes extraordinary and the world of princesses blends with the contemporary flavor of the young people, with surprising attention to detail and with streetwear at the base.

Vinyl jackets, crop-tops, hoodies and joggers in technical fabrics (reminiscent of ballet leotards), built the base of the soft silhouettes, cropped cuts and oversized models. The inclusion of transparent PVC makes it clear that a lot of re-search has gone into these futuristic designs, marrying innovation with tradition.

The collection also speaks to the little ones, with sweatshirts and sweatpants matching their mothers outfits.

Available online from April 20th, it will be competing for the first time in the international market.

With the ambition of giving something great to fashion, we find the UX page on the website. A space dedicated to culture, with the mission of promoting information through the curiosities of fashion.

Here we have a wonderful example of the extraordinary ability of the young generation that doesn’t forget past culture and history and uses and incorporates them, but at the same time evolves them into something precious.
