JW ANDERSON x UNIQLO: the collection that smells like peace and happiness

Flowers for Spring? Yes, please

By

Yesterday, April 1st, UNIQLO launched the new UNIQLO x JW ANDERSON ss 21 collection. This new lineup was born with the theme of hope for new beginnings and brighter days, but above all it is the result of an ongoing collaboration with the London brand that is revolutionizing contemporary fashion.

This new collaboration will continue to incorporate LifeWear with the allure of craftsmanship and heritage of JW ANDERSON. In fact, it will be the simple points and silhouettes of this relaxing collection that will give it the charm.

Designer Jonathan Anderson commented: “Spring was the first thought when I created this collection. We were all in the house and I was looking forward to being able to go out again. I also wanted to add a feeling of craftsmanship, because it's a very important element for me”.

The garments are pervaded by a sense of peace and happiness, sensations that transpire on t-shirts, blouses, hats, bags and many other items thanks to the blanket stitching, bohemian smocking and wild flower embroidery. To complete the magic touch are the materials and key colors used by Jonathan Anderson: fresh linen, seersucker, khaki, brown and ivory, but not only that. This collaboration will also bring a sense of “home” thanks to the use of the linen blend and the slub cotton used for the men's and women's shorts.

The JW ANDERON x UNIQLO SS21 collection will be available on the UNIQLO website from April 23rd.
