IKEA dedicates a capsule collection to the students' homes

A look at the most colorful collection!

By

IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant, has collaborated with some of the most brilliant minds of our century, such as Virgil Abloh and Bea Åkerlund, reinventing best sellers with new fantasies and features, or designing completely new items. The latest collaboration presented by IKEA is a riot of colors and patterns that exude happiness and light-heartedness, for a collection dedicated to students (but not only) and their creative homes. ikeanewcollection_acrimoniamagazine4

In this launch, fashion and fun came together again thanks to Sarag Andelman, director of Colette, Parisian concept store, and Craig Redman, the creator of Darcel Disappoints, an eye-shaped cartoon that tells the ups and downs of living in a big city. Darcel is, in fact, the protagonist of the pattern that has covered many of Ikea's most beloved objects, giving it a completely new look; the name of the collection is, in fact, "FÖRNYAD" which means "renewed".

The launch is scheduled for this month, and we're looking forward to it!
