The Swedish giant's ultimate goal is to create the perfect support for avid players. While they spend their hours in front of the last videogame released on the market, they deserve to be comfortable, feel at ease, and a chair that reflects their every need. In this regard, Ikea, in collaboration with Area Academy and Unyk, a company specializing in 3D printing applied to the health sector, has developed the prototype of a chair that in the future could be created starting from the scan of the player's butt. The seat is made up of two custom printed panels in 3D. The object will be launched on the market by the end of 2020.
