The stores in Copenhagen that you can't miss

If the Scandinavian style has also conquered your hearts

By ,

The style of the Scandinavian girls, in particular of the Danes is now established, is unequaled. Pastel colors, cool combinations, refined and never banal accessories. Niche brands that, in a short time, managed to create their audience from scratch, never to leave their tracks, giving us bewitching images.

In this regard, we decided to take a tour through the main streets of the Danish capital, passing through interesting shops and concept stores.

So here are our favorites:

MADS NØRGAARD PAA STRØGET
Amagertorv 13 - 15, 1160 Copenaghen

MADS NØRGAARD PAA STRØGET is located in the center, on the main shopping street, next to big names, such as Prada, Burberry and Bottega Veneta. Upon entering, however, it's clear that nothing trivial and inflated will be proposed to us inside.

The first thing visible is the large table at the entrance on which many hair accessories rest, at incredibly affordable prices for being in Denmark. The classic clip pegs, for example, are in fact sold for only 35dk (a perfect gift to make the girly-style friend happy). Next to brands such as The North Face, Comme des Garçons and New Balance, we find the highly sought after Cecilie Bahnsen, Stine Goya and Helmstedt (to name a few). The concept also proposes a series of customized items and coffee table books.

There is a line of glazes, also these with a minimal appearance and multiple colors. It's called Nailberry.

STINE GOYA Store
Gothersgade 58, 1123 Copenaghen

We then reached the Stine Goya store a short distance from the first concept. To date, there are three in Copenhagen, the address that we indicate here, belongs to the most central and, consequently, most convenient for your shopping tour.

The Danish designer of the same name, founder of the brand, has always wanted to communicate positivity and cheerfulness through colors and prints, believing that every woman has the right and duty to achieve her happiness.

All of this can be guessed by entering the store, where a very catchy girl welcomes us with a 36-tooth smile. The colors of the walls are perfectly designed to make you feel in the most welcoming place in the city, while remaining more subtle than those of the prints, absolute protagonists.

Admiring the clothes, you also come across accessories. Tights and hair clips specifically, this time the price is higher, it is around 300dk.

LOT #29

Gothersgade 29, 1123 Copenaghen

On the same street, a few steps from Stine Goya, you can find another really interesting concept store. It's called LOT #29 and at the entrance offers a series of beauty products, including the aforementioned Nailberry nail polishes, by brands such as Grown Alchemist or Girl Smells.

Turning around the shop you will find a selection in perfect Danish Style, but this time, in addition to the Copenhagen brands we also have proposals for more classic and less niche fashion houses, such as Missoni and GCDS. With pleasure we discover then, that from LOT #29 are also on sale the shoes of the Italian designer Fabrizio Viti, in Italy, still difficult to find.

HOLLY GOLIGHTLY
Borgergade 17B, 1300 Copenaghen

Holly Golightly is a great classic for shopping tours in Copenhagen. The store that bears the name of the protagonist of the film Breakfast at Tiffany's, played by Audrey Hepburn, is a real journey through prints and colors.

Here different styles blend together and with art. We note, in fact, on display several pieces of design by artists. At the entrance there is a beauty corner, entirely dedicated to the much-desired (in Italy) products of the Australian brand Aēsop.

At Holly Golightly, you can discover from a colorful but rigorous Marni, to a dreamlike coat by Helmstedt. All the garments appear in their own right, together, however, they create a beautiful dialogue.

GANNI
Store Regnegade 12, Copenaghen

The GANNI store is an unmissable stop. The brand, temple and prelude of the Danish style, spreading all over the world (and especially on Instagram) like wildfire, opens its doors, in what is the shop where it all began.

Large spaces and loquacious orders welcome at the entrance, willing to tell the heritage, albeit short, and the brand collection (which is not very - alas - widespread).

The garments are exactly as expected. Perfect, rigorous, tailored but also playful in the different patterns (which however remain less lively than those of the other Danish brands).

Ready for the next trip? We can't wait to enrich the list with you!
