Marta Festa, aka FESTA (who you have already met in a last episode of She Rules) will present the video of "Stanza 207", her first single, on YouTube tomorrow at 14:00.
We met her and asked her some questions about it:
FESTA is your surname but also your stage name. Is your new musical project born from this concept?
It all started for fun, a couple of years ago, when I began to think seriously about this project, and talking about it with my closest friends, we immediately thought of the name, and it came spontaneously to use my surname: Festa, a name of 'effect. After all, Festa is synonymous with joy.
There are still few clues to your new lead singer. Tell us why he chose this key to express you.
I was born in a family where music is essential. Since I was a child I have listened to all kinds of music. Singing has always been a great passion of mine and now that I have the chance I hope to be able to express my emotions and who I am through my music.
"Stanza 207", your first single, is an autobiographical text. Would you like to tell us something more?
I tell the story of the meeting I had with a person I loved, and I still want it. I'm talking about the moments lived with him. The melody is cheerful because the memories are still beautiful and it is not certain that there will not be a happy ending one day.
However it will all be revealed when you hear the song.

There are few women in the Indie music world. Why? What reactions do you think your arrival can move?
Honestly, I too wondered why this musical genre is generally linked to male voices. I hope my arrival will inspire other girls, helping them to open up and tell their story through music.
Your music belongs to a contemporary genre. How does it relate to your passion for the vintage aesthetic that distinguishes your image?
Since I approached the world of fashion I have had various phases in terms of style, but always remaining faithful to my character, to my being, hardly or perhaps better to say never, I let myself be influenced by others. My passion for vintage is mainly linked to the charm of yesteryear, a charm linked to aesthetics and the polite/elegant ways of yesteryear that unfortunately today is difficult to find. With the video of "Stanza 207" we tried to recreate a glimpse of the 60s and I would like people to feel catapulted into another era by looking at me.
What do you expect from this project?
Sincerely? Since it is an autobiographical project, I expect that those who listen to me appreciate me for who I really am... and it will certainly always be FESTA!
Don't miss her, the appointment is tomorrow at 14:00 on YouTube.
