Dr. Martens officially enters the Italian market

Rome is the city chosen by the English brand

By

Finally, the first Dr Martens store opens in Italy. In the center of the capital from 10th December 2020, every lover of the brand will have the opportunity to buy their own pair of amphibians.

Like the other stores around the world, the one in Rome absolutely reflects the stylistic lines of the brand. Dr Martens, founded in 1961 has always symbolized rebellion and freedom of expression. Initially linked to English sub-cultures, the Dr Martens amphibian over the years has become a must have, both for women and men.

From its birth it has maintained the key characteristics of the sub-cultural movement, adapting over time to new trends.

The Rome store reflects the heritage of the brand by placing the emphasis on the association between the company and the artistic expression of the sub-cultures. The perfect combination of these two aspects was Lucamaleonte, the leading Italian artist in the Roman scene, who with his urban art created works exhibited in the store. The artist's intention was to celebrate the arrival of Dr. Martens in Rome through an original reinterpretation of the symbols of the city.

140 square meters of sales space with raw concrete walls, wooden floors and industrial-style furnishings that house the entire Dr Martens production, every type and model of amphibian made from 1961 to today. From Originals models such as the Icon-boot 1460, the 3-eye 1461, the Fusion line with its new variants such as the Jadon, the Sinclair or the Bex.

A real dream that comes true, the moments in which to find the favorite Dr Martens model it was necessary to periodically look and re-look every shoe website are long gone.

Dr Martens awaits you in the heart of Rome!
