30 candles to blow in 2020 for the Nike Air Max 90. An important goal taht cannot pass in silence, especially in a world that runs so fast and where you forget to celebrate all good things happened. Leaving the mark is not easy, but being on top for 30 years, well... it's unbelievable.
The Air Max 90 was originally created by Tinker Hatfield, he proposed the biggest Air Unit model eever seen. Comfort and Flexibility are the two key words used to describe AM90, with a lacing system that allows every foot to be in its comfort zone. 30 years after its birth, Air Max 90 is now proposed again like (or almost) its original model, with the plus of a new box design, colored as the pair of shoes inside.
We had so much fun finding out who has worn Air Max 90 over the years. The most “addicted”, as she says, is Julia Sarr Jamois, stylist and fashion editor at British Vogue. She had this thing with this pair of shoes and started to collect them. She wears them in any occasion and the result is simply chic.
And then we have the Kardashian/Jenner clan: Kylie and Kendall, over and over again, have been photographed in sporty looks paired with the 90.
Zendaya, talented actress, funny and breathtakingly beautiful, she wore Air Max 90 even on the red carpet.
And then she, Leandra Medine Cohen, founder of Man Repeller, a brilliant mind and an extravagant style. Basically the fashion holy picture to keep over the head of your bed. She's worn the 90, and that's enough to declare them ICONIC.
The new Air Max 90 will be release December 21 in unisex sizing and in a sail palette. It could be, maybe a bit late, the perfect Christmas gift!
