Symbol of adventure, the unknown and freedom, the sea brings with it a pinch of nostalgia linked to the memories and sensations we feel in front of its vastness.
Jonathan Anderson, creative director and founder of the internationally renowned London brand JW Anderson, is well aware of this. Together with Uniqlo, he designs a SS22 collection inspired by the rich heritage of British sea and sailing culture.

“The sea has been an integral part of my life since I was a child. It inspired this collection and I hope that people enjoy adding this marine style to their wardrobe” says the designer, who combines his talent and the distinctive elements of the brand such as patchwork and asymmetry with the quality and functionality of the typical fabrics of the LifeWear from Uniqlo.
The result is an innovative, comfortable and functional collection that develops on the theme of British classics, but which is designed for today's everyday life.
The coasts of Great Britain blend perfectly with the cold but cheeky shades of the collection, inspired by their very nature, including the ocean blues, the beiges of the coasts themselves and the reds, greens and yellows that warm the atmosphere.
Shirts, caps, polo shirts, yacht parkas, knot dresses, bags and socks: the line features 4 accessories plus 22 garments for men and women, animated by horizontal stripes and cute embroidered sailboats.
A simple, contemporary and timeless collection that contains not only an aesthetic, but also a feeling, ready to accompany us for the next season.
