We enter in a world of pure imagination, the one of the set designer Violaine Carossino

By

Take the aesthetics of Wes Anderson's films, add a sprinkle of sugar, fruits, rouches, a vintage mood and generous doses of French style and you'll get Violaine Carossino's recipe, perfectly exemplified by her Instagram profile, @viola3000.

Violaine is the set designer and decorator of Casa Viola, a Parisian studio that serves as a design set and offers consultancy and art direction for events, shops and interior decoration, with a lovely online shop, where you can buy vintage and new furnishing accessories, with a unique soul.

Her feed is an explosion of pastel tones, worthy of a French pastry shop window: an artsy and stunning composition of pink, yellow, lilac and soft green tones, like some delicious macarons, for a sprinkle of good vibes, even in this crazy winter.

Scrolling through her pictures is like entering an enchanted world, made of beautifully colored interiors, Parisian glimpses of cafes, avenues, romantic terraces and bucolic sceneries of the French countryside, full of dreams of a simple life, made of nature and good food.

The kitchen is probably Violaine's favorite room and it's captured in many photos: as a set for Casa Viola or as a simple table to live and love, with dishes that mix taste and aesthetics: what about a plate of pink eggs with some violets?

The rooms photographed by Violaine are like small magical and surreal universes made of peculiar objects, wonderful to look at: interior design as a visual therapy, for an immediate mood boost.

Her style takes the classic tropes of the so-called French Girl Style, characterized by a relaxed and almost casual elegance and elevates them into maximalism and a twee aesthetic: Violaine is Amelie Poulain as a millennial, wearing wide blouses, palazzo trousers, maxi blazers, romantic dresses, sabot with heels and retro boots, all in sorbet shades. Each outfit is completed with naive accessories and a fantastic collection of mini-bags. On her feed we can see some cult brands, such as the iconic Jacquemus, Olivia Rubin and Lirika Matoshi (obviously we're talking about the fabulous Strawberry Dress), mixed with eco-sustainable brands like Omnes and vintage pieces.

An Instagram profile like a visual desserts.
